G. Brown Design, Inc. worked with FFKR Architects to provide site planning, landscape and irrigation design, construction documents, and construction observation services for the new NPS Pharmaceutical Building at the University of Utah Research Park.

The site is located along the upper bench of Research Park and interfaces with the natural undisturbed landscape of scrub oak, native shrubs, and native grasses. GBD was given the charge to produce a design that would blend harmoniously with the adjacent native vegetation while still providing a clean and orderly corporate look. This was achieved by utilizing native and adaptable plant species grouped in informal random groupings toward the outer perimeter of the property and more formal plant groupings directly around the building and entry drive.
