G Brown Design, in association with ACP-Visioning & Planning, completed an urban design plan for the city of Ogden, Utah. The objective of the project was to celebrate Ogden's history, future, and sense of identity while providing a framework to orient visitors and enhance linkages to downtown. GBD's project scope included defining and prioritizing the gateways into the city, and determining streetscape design guidelines for the city's major corridors and downtown district. Key elements of the design guidelines included recommendations for landscape plantings, lighting, hardscape, furniture, traffic calming, and the character of the streetscape as a whole.
