Wolf Creek Ranch Residence, Woodland, UT

G. Brown Design, Inc., in collaboration with Babcock Design Group and Chamberlain Homes, developed a master plan for a 1,000-acre private ranch located at 8,000 feet in elevation adjacent to the Wasatch National Forest near Woodland, Utah. This picturesque site boasts panoramic views of the Wasatch and Uintah Mountains. Native grasses, flowers, trees and shrubs have been used in the planting design to maintain and enhance the existing vegetation. Native materials were incorporated into the site design, and the home was carefully located in order to minimize impacts to the existing vegetation, wildlife, and view corridors.

Site improvements include an outdoor amphitheatre, barns and horse paddocks, a wildflower meadow which will also serve as a seasonal ice skating rink, a 1.5-acre pond, a recreation field for year-round use, and interconnecting trails which follow the natural contours of the land to minimize the impact of wildlife habitat and the landscape.
